HUBBLE "GRIN" COLLECTION

GRIN, for GReat Images in NASA, is a collection of over a thousand images of significant historical interest. The Hubble collection comprises 48 images. Most of these images are pictures of astronomical objects taken by Hubble's Hubble's Wide Field and Planetary Camera 2 (WFPC2). Each picture is accompanied by a descriptive essay from NASA. Here is a typical display of image and essay on a web page. NASA GRIN headquarters is located at  http://grin.hq.nasa.gov.

To view the Collecton, click link below to preload the pictures from the NASA web site. After the image files have been loaded into cache, open the Catalog to select a picture. Return to the Catalog to make other selections.
